Following this, representatives from the newly established divisions each shared their remarks.
James Zhou, General Manager of the Online Division of Ningbo Royal Union Co., Ltd., said: “We will continue to focus deeply on the cross-border e-commerce sector, with product strength at its core, digital operations as its backbone, and customer experience as its orientation. We will further cultivate our advantageous categories and gradually build brand influence. In the future, through process optimization, system upgrades, and resource integration, we will continuously improve operational efficiency and market responsiveness. We not only aim to help MU Group take root in Shenzhen but also to contribute to the globalization journey of Chinese brands!”
Emily Fu, Director of the Styleon Division of Yiwu Free Market Co., Ltd., stressed that low price is not the only path forward—service and professionalism are also key to breaking through. Only by refining services with persistence and thinking from the customer’s perspective can the division stand out in fierce competition. She highlighted that the division is on a journey toward “overall optimization,” delivering the right products with the right strategy and pace to the most suitable customers worldwide.
Lindsay Kuo, Director of the Electronic Division of Ningbo SC-Starmax Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd., recalled the team’s journey from a three-person group to a full division, overcoming trade wars and client crises with resilience. Looking ahead, she outlined three priorities: first, staying customer-centered and market-oriented; second, focusing on innovation with precision; and third, strengthening talent development and team culture. She stressed that only by doing so can the division open up new opportunities in a competitive red ocean and move toward leadership in the electronic consumer goods sector.
Finally, Tom Tang pointed out that the signing of the new division is more like an investment promotion. Once the agreement is completed, it is equivalent to the end of the investment promotion, but the agreement in our hearts will always exist! MU Group encourages each division to hold its own founding or signing ceremonies internally — “You can also have your own company in MU Group!” Just like Yiwu city, MU Group aims to incubate thousands upon thousands of entrepreneurs. We must “first copy, then surpass” — not only imitating others but also surpassing them, striving for differentiation not only in execution but also in thinking, strategy, and vision!
Foreign trade is a sunset industry. Many small importers, retailers, and e-commerce clients are facing fierce market competition, and many companies will fall into difficulties. However, we also believe that many excellent companies will stand out. In one’s lifetime, it is already very difficult to do one thing well. For us, to take good care of 4,000 colleagues and to sustain this company requires tremendous dedication and effort. MU Group hopes that through forty years of hard work, and through the spirit of “In the new 20 years, to be No.1!” we can contribute a worldwide business organization to this city!
