According to the latest July data, Market Union’s Yiwu Global Logistic Properties (GLP) Warehouse achieved a monthly cargo throughput of 102,090 m³, setting a new historical record. In the face of tariff barriers and mounting export pressures, this milestone is truly inspiring.
Every summer, the peak shipping season also brings the challenge of warehouse congestion. Braving the scorching heat, the Warehouse Department implemented multiple measures to accelerate cargo turnover, expand storage capacity, enhance manpower, and improve cooling support—ensuring agile operations.
Coordinated closely with business and procurement teams to precisely control turnover time and shorten in-warehouse duration;
Optimized high-level stacking and adopted palletized forklift operations, increasing container loading efficiency by 30% and storage capacity by 20%;
Advanced loading operations to 6:00 a.m., ensuring warehouse space is cleared before 9:00 a.m. for smooth inbound reception.
Meanwhile, the warehouse installed external water-spray pipes on container racks for physical cooling, provided iced beverages and ice machines for loading crews, and offered truck drivers cool refreshments, heatstroke prevention medicine, and shower facilities—creating a refreshing work environment.
In recent years, leveraging the Yiwu GLP Logistics Center, Market Union has continuously reduced costs and improved efficiency. With a dedicated team of 78 members, we have built a highly efficient logistics system. From January to July this year, total throughput reached 1,046,184 m³, with an average monthly throughput of 150,000 m³—achieving steady year-on-year growth and demonstrating robust momentum in our export business.
